Let’s get your hands cheesy dirty! This is a unique agricultural experience at a local Italian farm in the famous valleys of Tuscany.
You will meet Giovanna, a welcoming woman and the owner of the farm, who came from Sardinia and built her farm. After sharing her story, she will guide you to making your own cheese. You will watch the milk transforming and shaping into cheese before your eyes. While waiting at the last stage, Giovanna will treat you to local delicacies from Tuscany and Sardinia and her farm’s products.
Among others, you will taste the famous Pecorino di Pienza cheese and the rustic Pane Carasau, a Sardinian type of bread.
You will also have free time to explore the local farm and walk on a nearby hill to see the breathtaking valley view of Val D’Orcia. After the workshop, Giovanna will guide you on how to reach her local shop for the perfect gourmet souvenirs!
